Introduction

Tong earned her B.S. in Biological Science from China Agricultural University, with a minor in Data Science and Big Data Technology. Her research projects span from protein convergence in powered flight among birds and bats to taxonomic classification of insect images based on deep learning models. Proficient in Python, Linux, and various computational tools, she is passionate about bridging biology and computational science to advance our understanding of evolution.
